**Hosting opportunities will be available again in the spring!

A Social is a fun event – like a party, activity or themed gathering – where students, parents (moms, dads, couples!) and families come together to connect and have a great time. Each Social is also a fundraiser that supports our amazing Horn Cardinals.

Examples of past Socials include: Back-to-School Ice Cream Party, Pumpkin Painting at the Park, Mom’s Only Brunch, Movie Night Social

WHO can attend and host?

Anyone in our Horn community can join in – kids, parents and families! Socials are hosted by fellow Horn parents or teachers, who come up with the idea, plan the event, and cover the costs. Whether you’re a solo host or part of a team, you can create something memorable for others to enjoy while also benefiting our school.

WHEN do they happen?

Between August 22, 2026 and November 14, 2026

WHERE do socials take place?

That’s up to the hosts! They can be held at homes, parks, restaurants or wherever your event fits best. Just make sure it’s fun and safe for everyone involved.

WHY do we have Socials? WHY should I host and attend?

Socials build community and raise money for Horn Elementary at the same time. They’re a key part of our school’s fundraising efforts- bringing in funds that directly benefit students and programs. Plus, they’re a great way to meet other Horn families and create last memories.

Complete the interest form or email socials@hornpto.org. Your Horn Social Chairs will help you every step of the way – including ticket sales and event logistics. Let’s make it fun and meaningful – one Social at a time!
